Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Test Designer/Analyst for a position in Columbus, Ohio. This QA role is responsible for the automated test design and test execution on client's projects to ensure that knowledge transfer happens on a regular basis from project build to run. The successful candidate will have expertise using HP Quality Center to perform manual testing as well as expertise using Cucumber, Ruby, Gherkin to create automated scripts. Additional skills involve using QTP, VB Script to create automated scripts. Working knowledge of Agile Methodology is required.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and reviewing requirements and designs.
- Analyzing and utilizing test tools.
- Designing test scenarios, scripts and data and creating test data.
- Mapping requirements to tests.
- Participating in test meetings to discuss the testing progress and quality of the solution.
- Supporting the updates to the Master Test Strategy.
- Updating the Testing Risk Book and Traceability Matrix.
- Discovering, recording, retesting and validating defects.
- Resolving non-technical defects as needed.
